We people are placing much to little emphasis on the person, position, authority of YESHUA.

The church has btought in structures that are not conducive to the respect and honour that YESHUA is entitled to by the very people that He recued from sin and wrath and destruction and are supposed to get ready to be His bride. For example, pastors, as we know them, has no position in the Bible. Nor does church exist. Nor the order of service. Nor the way that communion is served. Nor the church structure and buildings and Sunday services. In fact there is NO mention, not ONCE, of any sermon in the New Covenant. Nor preaching. That is a fabrication.

There are only 7 times that one can safely refer to a "preacher" and that is in the book of Ecclesiastes.

So this organisational structure had to be fit in between the Shepherd and His sheep. And the postion was obtained by making the role of YESHUA smaller and the stature of the laity that of dumb stupid sheep that had no say. And the pastor took on a type of role where he is overly respected, and obeyed, limiting the working of the Spirit to about nothing, dumbing down the members and weakening their ability to be a force that the gates of hell cannot withstand.

But this is a lengthy and controversial subject. Read the book "Pagan Christianity". You are in for a rude awakening.
