  • V50 YHWH, Evil spirits and believing man
    • Comment
      • I had been disturbed by the signs of the end times and the great tribulation. My mind was greatly calmed when I realised the greater plan was scripted 2000 years ago, from the SAME source that predicted the first coming of YESHUA is unimaginable accuracy, humanly totally, utterly impossible,

Darkness has only so much room to movement, they are in a narrow, impossibly high practically vertical ravine and the only way is down... With a waterfall awaiting - the bottomless pit. They can (and will) cause chaos in between, and will colour the water with blood, much from the faithful believers, BUT, the ONLY threat they have, death, has been defeated, And killing a believer immediately transitions him into the promised everlasting life.

Must be so frightening and depressing to them that have the eyes to see.

    • V05 Preconditions for man to be protected by YHWH
      • V05 Stay in the presence very close to YHWH, in his very private place, that man has the personal protection from YHWH
        • Ps 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
      • V10 personally, And publicly declare YHWH believer's shelter and strong defense
        • Ps 91:2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
      • V15 Repeat of the preconditions - deliberately deciding and declaring YHWH a shelter, and living in intimate relationship with him - to being protected from evil spirits
        • Ps 91:9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
      • V20 YHWH Protects those that are closely attached to him, he will let them escape, those who are very deeply acquainted with his name
        • Ps 91:14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
      • V25 Crying out load to YHWH, he will respond, being with him in trouble and rescue - allow man to escape and YHWH will honour him
        • Ps 91:15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honor him.
    • V10 The danger that man is facing, the evil spirits that are a threat to man
      • Note
        • The psalm addresses the spiritual danger that lurkes at all times, but here specially at night and noonday.

Pakh => Snare = bait, plot, agent of calamity

Yawkoosh => fowler = trapper, bait layer

Deber => pestilence, plague, disease - the same as what was dished out the the Egyptians, and threatened to Israel and dished out to Israel in the final days before they were exiled the first time.

Pachad Pakh’ - Ad => Terror, Dread feel extreme reluctance to meet or face same as phobos as in hearts fail

pachad lahyil => fear of the night - this is the name of a fearsome demon causing night paralysis

Khayts => arrow that flies in daytime

Deber walking in darkness? that can only be a living being as pestilence does not "walk"

          Destruction the ruins at midday.

The satan is a deceiver that lures people into sin, so is an idolatrous, lustful, unfaithful, adulterous woman - giving in to any leads to ruin.

We are also engaged in a war as per

          Ahab

          Job

          David

          Eph 4

      • Comment
        • Apparently, at least some of the words used in these verses can be related to gods of the nations around Israel - such as terror, arrow, pestilence.

Of interest is that the spirits of darkness do not seek the wellbeing of man, especially those that are loyal to YHWH, which they continuously want to lead into a trap and destruction. See YESHUA and the Pharisees with their continuous probing to find a weak spot.

In the end they captured Him during night time - but that was only because he allowed them to.

      • Ps 91:3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare, of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.,
      • Ps 91:5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror, by night; nor for the arrow, that flieth by day;
      • Ps 91:6 Nor for the pestilence, that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction, that wasteth at noonday.
    • V15 What YHWH will do to someone that is very close to him, flees to him for protection
      • Note
        • A man that lives in YHWH's presence has lack of fear, peace.
      • Ps 91:3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare, of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.,
      • Ps 91:4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
      • Ps 91:11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
      • Ps 91:12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
    • V20 Man close to YHWH will have peace in the most violent and dangerous circumstances
      • Note
        • Note not fear the demons of the day or night, the plagues nor the destroyer-kings

Many thousands will die, but those close to YHWH will be protected.

Note that lion, adder and dragon are at times references to the satan, again highlighting the spiritual aspect of an extreme precarious and dangerous time.

Lastly the man that trusts and lives extremely close to YHWH will be saved. Not always from death, but absolutely always from the threat and untimate absolute and final terror of the second death

      • Ps 91:5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror, by night; nor for the arrow, that flieth by day;
      • Ps 91:6 Nor for the pestilence, that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction, that wasteth at noonday.
      • Ps 91:7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand;, but it shall not come nigh, thee.
      • Ps 91:8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
      • Ps 91:10 There shall no evil befall, thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
      • Ps 91:13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet
      • Ps 91:16 With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation.
    • V25 These evil spirits are a major threat to man
      • Note
        • The spiritual beings created by YHWH are immensely powerful and man clearly does not view this power in the correct light. On the one hand we need to be aware of their danger, but on the other that they are under the authority of YHWH that allows them only so much freedom.

However, they can inflict still tremendous harm, and, at times, are commanded/allowed by YHWH to inflict harm on people to return them to Him.

Case in mind is Job, Alexander, Apollyon

      • Ps 91:7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand;, but it shall not come nigh, thee.
    • V30 The spirits are allowed by YHWH to hurt man as result of man's own wickedness
      • Note
        • When the cup of YHWH's wrath is full, He makes the nations drink of it. And it appears to be the case in this psalm.

          This is a fearful prospect.

      • Ps 91:8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
