- NT0040 Hagios hag - ee - os ; 1) Holy, characteristic of God, separated to God, worthy of veneration. Highest application is to God himself, in his purity, majesty and glory. 1a)Things, places claiming reverence as sacred to God, e.g. the Temple: 1b) Persons employed by him, angels: prophets, apostles, 2) Applied to persons as separated to God's service: 2a) Christ: 2b) Christians: 3)Moral sense of sharing God's purity: 4)Pure, clean sacrifices, offerings: Hagios has as fundamental meaning separation, from the world to God s service, a meaning early in use. This separation not chiefly external, rather separation from evil, defilement. Moral signification is the prominent one. Rare, of neutral meaning in classical Greek, expresses full conception of holiness as no other does.

  - V05 - YHWH saves man in a way that is almost beyond comprehension and given him an inheritance that is beyond words. Chosen to be holy, separated to God, pure and clean. chosen, that believers should be in Christ, in love, holy without blame before him, resultant after being in Christ

  - V10 - Essense of being separated from gods, cleansed from filth, dedicated to YHWH. The focus and goal of the work of YESHUA and the Spirit is to be separate to YHWH and be without spot and blame before Him

We have a releasing effected by payment of ransom redemption, deliverance liberation procured by the payment of a ransom by YESHUA's blood - He paid the ransom with His life, proof He took it into the holiest of all in heaven

- NT4239 Praus prah - ooce ; 1) mildness of disposition, gentleness of spirit, meekness Meekness toward God is that disposition of spirit in which we accept His dealings with us as good, and therefore without disputing or resisting. In the OT, the meek are those wholly relying on God rather than their own strength to defend them against injustice. Thus, meekness toward evil people means knowing God is permitting the injuries they inflict, that He is using them to purify His elect, and that He will deliver His elect in His time. Gentleness or meekness is the opposite to self - assertiveness and self - interest. It stems from trust in God s goodness and control over the situation. The gentle person is not occupied with self at all. This is a work of the Holy Spirit, not of the human will.
