There are two very distinctive powers, each of immeasurable magnitude, that are preparing for the showdown of unimaginable proportions. And we humans will be right there in the middle of the fray – a sizeable part of this epic battle centres on us humans. We can ignore it, be over optimistic or be overwhelmed becoming depressed and despondent. None of these is appropriate. Awareness and preparedness are required. Amid the chaos there is hope. Even though we know and expect things to get very unpleasant and nasty, and that the satan, his cohorts, will have control over the believers, there are a few things that we need to get imprinted on our minds:

1. NOTHING can separate us from the love of Christ. NOTHING.
2. When the satan tested YESHUA, YESHUA used a defensive technique that worked EVERY time – IT IS WRITTEN. Satan and his hordes are powerless and UNABLE to do ANYTHING that is not within the framework of YHWH’s written word.
3. YHWH has written the script of the very end since time immemorial – IT IS FIXED. The who, what, when how and how long, no change, no amendment.
4. When satan and his hordes kill us, and we KEPT the faith to the end – WE WOULD BE VICTORIOUS – they would be routed! That is why it is so important to keep one’s faith (and faithfulness to YHWH).
5. We must stay close to YHWH, as in Ps 91. Apparently, the plagues (and arrows?) are Mideastern gods or demons. This lets the Psalm take on a very distinctive nature.
6. We must learn and practice several things that are normally ignored or addressed in a wrong or haphazard way. Two of these are to ask for knowledge, wisdom and expect an answer from YHWH. Secondly is to know and practice spiritual warfare.  Very few people understand the power and influence of the spirit world (dark AND light) on our daily lives. Extremes must be avoided, for example Reformed Ignorance and Pentecostal Imprudence. Both are deadly and dangerous.
7. As this war and suffering would be horrific, the worst ever in the history, it is natural to feel apprehension and even downright fear.  BUT it is a war that is under the full control of YHWH. AND the duration is FIXED. AND at the end the rewards of those that remained faithful will be astounding. And there is going to be peace. PEACE!!! Over the WHOLE earth. YESHUA is going to SHEPHERD (NOT rule!) the nations with rod of iron. No more gates of hell or fraudskis or swape or haridiots or red shields.
