        • 001 Mt 13:5 Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:

    • V10 - YESHUA's instruction - a commendation and at the same time an implied condemnation and judgement
      • V05 - YESHUA refers to the ear - gates. These needs to be tuned for the words of the gospel to receive. Note this - it is central to the parable, and the ability to become a citizen of YHWH's kingdom

        • 003 Mr 4:9 And he said unto them, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
    • V15 - The disciples' enquiry about the sudden change of tack - and YESHUA's reply. Note the immense and far - reaching implications on personal responsibility
      • Comment
        • The words of YESHUA should stun us to silence - and reflection. Here uses the scalple sharp sword to divide between those that will enter into YHWH's kingdom and those that will stay outside.

To which group do we belong - now at this very moment - not months or years or decades ago. Is strong and clear? Or did it became fainter and fainter over time - practically non-existent? Have we ever heard His voice?

Do we have a solid understanding what YESHUA requires of us? Do we know His instructions and commands?

This is vitally important as fruitbearing depends on it. Bearing fruit has a direct influence on whether one will be gathered to be with YESHUA (Mt 24), or being gathered to be burnt- Joh 15.

      • V05 - Disciples were surprised that YESHUA spoke in a parable - and prompted Him about it
        • 001 Mt 13:10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?
        • 002 Mr 4:10 And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable.
        • 003 Lu 8:9 And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be?
      • V10 - YESHUA contemplates whether the slow to understands disciples will ever grow in insight both in spoken and natural parables
        • 001 Mr 4:13 And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?
      • V15 - A shocking and highly concerning answer of YESHUA. People that do not think, cannot tune in to YHWH's kingdom and are disqualified right away
        • 001 Mt 13:11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
        • 002 Mr 4:11 And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:
        • 003 Lu 8:10 And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.
      • V20 - YESHUA continues His barrage - separating even further by strengthening those that made themselves available for being citizens and weakening those that did not. This is the divine law of retribution.
        • 001 Mt 13:12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.
      • V25 - Those that are insensitive to the norms, dictates and demands of YHWH's kingdom remain unchanged, ignorant when it visits them. They remain under the reign of darkness - unforgiven.
        • 001 Mt 13:13 Therefore, speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
        • 002 Mt 13:14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:
        • 003 Mr 4:12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.
      • V30 - Having a thick and callous heart leads to unperceiving senses, dull ears and closed eyes - else they would hear and see - AND YESHUA will heal them
        • 001 Mt 13:15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
      • V35 - YESHUA speaks of blessed ears that can tune in and hear and eyes that are open and can perceive
        • 001 Mt 13:16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.
    • V20 - A Stark division between the Old and New Covenant - Christians are to note the vast changed brought about and the serious implications of being unaware of it
      • V05 - In the Old Covenant the details of the kingdom of YHWH, its entry, wonders, was hazy and mostly imperceptable - but now it is presented in vivid clarity both in hearing and seeing - for those hearts that are aligned to it
        • 001 Mt 13:17 For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.
    • V25 - YESHUA explains the parable - and again stresses the need for us to open our ears - and prepare our hearts
      • V05 - YESHUA strong emphasis on man's ability to hear. It is vital for having a fruitful participation in the kingdom of YHWH
        • 001 Mt 13:18 Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.
      • V10 - The sower - YESHUA, His apostles, and anyone that shares the logos of YHWH, which is the seed.
        • 001 Mr 4:14 The sower soweth the word.
        • 002 Lu 8:11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
      • V15 - Explanation of the seed that fell on the hard impacted impenitrable path - the people remain unsaved. The kingdom of darkness sends its most potent operatives precisely to where the word is sown - this is of utmost importance to them.
        • 001 Mt 13:19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.
        • 002 Mr 4:15 And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.
        • 003 Lu 8:12 Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.
      • V20 - The receivers of the logos (in John YESHUA is Logos - so here it may refer to YESHUA the King of the kingdom). Having a callous unreceptive heart, yet receives the word with joy.
        • 001 Mt 13:20 But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it;
        • 002 Mr 4:16 And these are they likewise which are sown, on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;
      • V25 - The seed grows! Alas, There has no transformation taken place, the self - god is still strong and undefeated. Difficulties, persecution, temptation stirs up the beast starving the seedling so it dies.
        • 001 Mt 13:21 Yet hath he not root in himself, but endureth for a while:, for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.
        • 002 Mr 4:17 And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.
        • 003 Lu 8:13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.
      • V30 - Ditto those among the thorns, who hears, accepts the planted word - and the plant starts to grow strong, promising. Cares and anxieties of the age, deceit of abundance, lusts for things, pleasures, suffocates the seedling - and it bear no fruit - but the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful, with none of the fruit become mature - as seed for the next planting season.
        • 001 Mt 13:22 He also that received seed, among the thorns, is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.
        • 002 Mr 4:18 And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word,
        • 003 Mr 4:19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful, with none of the fruit become mature - as seed for the next crop
        • 004 Lu 8:14 And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.,
      • V35 - Those whos ears were open, hearts were prepared, unspoiled, understand the logos, keep watch over it, allowing it to bear fruit some more than others - BUT all is fit for purpose.
        • Comment
          • YHWH calls us to His kingdom, He wants is to be citizens of that kingdom - not only then, but right now. He wants us fit for purpose - we need to fit into this realm.

The Old Covenant adressed extremes of wickedness, but did nothing to change, or help, the things inside. The New Covenant does. Through faith in the victory of YESHUA over sin and death, his blood the proof of His death, His resurrection proof that He was the perfect sacrifice - we can overcome sin as well. AND we are empowered to DO His commands,

Empowered to bear the fruit of the Spirit.

            What good news!

        • 001 Mt 13:23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some, a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
        • 002 Mr 4:20 And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.
        • 003 Lu 8:15 But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.
