        Her name was a mystery when John wrote Revelation as he was referring to a future (political) entity that would be the new Babylon.
        Rome was known, the old Babylon was known - and the old Babylon was never to be rebuild - even today there is NO building where someone lives within the borders of the old Babylon - and if we are living in the end times, there is not enough time to rebuild it.
