I have heard of the flat earth society and watched a video of them and thought these okes had a proper whack of the windmill. Totally bonkers. The cosmological model was settled in my mind, I marvelled about the discoveries that were made about the sun and other planets, marvelled at the images that Hubble brought us, listened with awe to preachers that explained the size of the other stars... The universe was expanding and everything was under control...

Then I saw this pesky flat earth video, and I decided to watch it and for once and for all understand what the ramblings are about so that I could add my bit in a discussion.

Or so I thought. The presenter, brought forth evidence after evidence that I had no answer for. Eric Dubay (I know he is a Buddist! but that does not make his conclusions invalid unneccessarily!) presented 200 facts, each was like being slapped through the face with big heavy slimy cold fish.

I needed to follow the hare and ended in a hole that was well beyond my imagination.

The moon landings were fake, the ISS stands for the International Space Stationary, the Shuttle is an aircraft, not a bubblebee glider (the bumblebee should not fly, it defies aerodynamics, how will it glides then?) and on and on the list went.

The earth is flat, we have a dome above our heads, the sun and moon moves in the dome, and the stars are not what we are told.

Then I decided, I am going to put all this information on pile, clear any preconceived ideas - stationary or moving at 666 speed, and read the Bible to find out what it has to say.

There was a guy that compiled a list of 70 verses that clearly indicates the Biblical Cosmological model, but I wanted to make sure.

I started at Gen 1. I proceeded to verse 6. And the earth was flat, and we had a dome above our heads. I never changed. EVERYTHING that I read from them on confirmed the model, every video, whether it was trying to prove the flat earth, debunk NASA, debunk flat earth, everything pointed to the flat earth model.

And what amazes me is that a child can, with very little outlay, prove some of the impossibilities that confronts space flight. And anyone with a little more resources can prove that combusion is impossible in space, that the thermosphere makes the existence of man-made objects in its realm impossible. And so the list goes on.

My personal Rubicon was crossed when walking the dogs late on afternoon with the sun nearly set - it was on my horison - the half moon at north-east-north, about 45% in the sky, and me looking up, instantaneously realised that the shadow on the moon was impossible. Impossible for the sun to be refected off the moon. The shadow was pointing about 60% left off the vertical, while the sun was about at 210 off the vertical, a 55 deg difference.

It was a split-second and I had the proof that I asked YHWH to give me of the truth.
And this is what I am witnessing of.

For the believers in YHWH and Yeshua, in His blood sacrifice, in His salvation, His position right now, and His return to earth - if you do not believe in this - please do your own research. I have given ample information, from the Bible and provided links to many videos. Go through that. Pray about that. YHWH will open the truth to you.

For those that feel to - I would call it blaspheme - yes you really disappointed me pastors - go and sit down and before you let go of you verbal diarrhea, be quite, and study, You do not have all the knowledge in the world, you are not God. You are men and can and will go wrong. Just as any of us that are frail humans.
