This, IMHO, is a key and kernel subject that needs to be studied and understood - specially to understand and navigate the chaotic circumstances we have entered having deadly human-engineered pandemics (creating zoonotic pathogens with the same people creating the "treatment"), lies (fudging statistics), fake news, double-faced attitudes (slaughtering millions of babies and claiming to save lives of adults), overstepping of authority (forcing people to take in their own waste) to tyranny and all the words that can be heaped upon the current situation.
This is a complex and massive subject, one about which books can be written on any and all of the Medusa's snakes. To keep the study succinct, many of the "hooks" are left out. Please refer to M. Heiser's Supernatural Realm series (his book and YouTube).
However, I would like to focus on one very important subject which I believe is essential for any Christian that faces the white-water rapids we are in but is nothing compared to what is awaiting us.
This will give someone serious the means to survive even when overwhelmed in forces well beyond his imagination, fighting for air, not having even the buoyancy one would expect in fast flowing water, it is like being in air but having water to breathe!
BUT there IS one help that WILL keep one buoyant, and victorious, even if one’s life is ripped from one's body.
1.1 A0 The satan, serpent, fiery red dragon's origin
Eze 28:12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. .
Eze 28:13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. .
Eze 28:14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. .
Eze 28:15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day, that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee..
Of note here is that there is a reference to the king of Tyrus, which is an ordinary man, like any human, only in an exalted and reverenced position with much power.
However, YHWH immediately goes over and describes a super-natural, super-human being.
This is clearly a reference to De 38:2 (corrupted in the later Hebrew text, altering ben-ha-Elohim to ben-Israel, which makes no sense, but was a brilliant move of darkness to hide their nefarious ways).
So there are kings and princes which are physical mirrors of the spiritual kings and princes in the heaven (the second heaven?)
So where do these leaders of today get their power to put nations in house arrest, treat them with contempt. use tyrannical force, corrupting human's DNA, come from?
Hmmm.

Da 8:25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand. .

Of note in Daniel is that the SAME word is used for a spiritual supernatural being and for mortal man. And these princes and kings are classed of the same TYPE as YESHUA, only He YESHUA, does not need a human equivalent, He would become human!

Mt 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. .
Mt 4:6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge, concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. .
Mt 4:7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. .
Mt 4:10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. .
Lu 4:4 And Jesus answered, him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God. .
Lu 4:8 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. .
Lu 4:10 For it is written, He shall give his angels charge, over thee, to keep thee: ( note the satan uses the word - he knows it and know how to abuse it)

I have kept this short; the reader needs to study the passages for him/herself carefully. I have included the essentials.
1. There is a spiritual domain or dimension populated with extreme supernaturally powerful beings.
2. There are massive tension in this realm between the beings of light and those of darkness - even though they originated from the same source and were in the same family.
3. When human refused to worship YHWH in the way that He specified and tried to force Him into their ways (i.e., Babel), He gave humans over to some of these spiritual rulers and princes and powers - explaining the chaos in the nations. This WILL come to an end, there is some white water to traverse before it become calm again!
4. The most glorious and powerful of these beings, the leader of the rebels that now manages the (human) world, is the satan (opposer), serpent, dragon, devil.
5. As he has much power and glory. one needs to be careful when in conflict with this being, and rebuking and binding is probably not going very far.
BUT, following YESHUA's brilliant example, there IS a way, and a VERY powerful way to resist this being and having him fleeing from us.
It consists of only THREE words. IT IS WRITTEN.
The most powerful, glorious Human, Who would become King of kings, Master (Kurios) of masters, Creator of all uses written, human readable scripture as weapon of defence in this deadly battle, and of eternal significance to all living beings!!!!
Why not rebuke and bind?
YESHUA views this written word as so powerful, AND the most powerful and glorious being only second to YHWH/YESHUA Himself, MUST leave when confronted with this written word.

PS. The context from which YESHUA quoted should not be used to motivate the adherence to the Mosiac ALL the Mosiac laws. Which should be in/out? Certainly those that YESHUA used in His interaction with people, the greatest law "you shall respect and revere and fear YHWH your Elohim with all your heart and all your soul and all your mind and all your power, and you shall revere and respect your fellowman as you would want to be revered and respected", the 9 commandments (10 - Sabbath over which the religious fanatics wanted to kill YESHUA several times, and the one of the 10 that He did not repeat), etc.
There are laws that one would be wise to take note of, BUT we are not bound to those, as we are under a NEW covenant, with a NEW Sacrifice, a NEW High Priest, a NEW Mediator, a NEW most holy place, NEW way to YHWH...
Laws? Those will/should/must be written in our minds (to know what to do) and in our hearts (to do it willingly and reverently).
