In the New Covenant He, YHWH, made sure that the people understand what was prophesied by Moses. Only in this place is the word exolothreuo used - to be destroyed from its place, to destroy utterly.

Makes one sit upright, and with wide eyes, open ears and attentive mind pay careful attention.

Todays churches have people born in soft light, soft music, while eyes are closed and heads bowed, Jesus loves you and gave His life for you, accept Him into your heart - and you are well away en route to heaven.

Reality?

Hurts, inner healing, boundaries, etc. etc., psychology in the church - many of these issues ripped out of man only by obeying YESHUA's commands, e.g. forgiveness - rather these "methods" perpetuate unforgiveness!

Reality is somewhat different. Yes He IS to be in us - BUT as King and Judge. With the authority to choose who is to be with Him and who will be rejected.

Harsh reality - when one is invited (called) by YHWH to accept YESHUA, one joins His "army", where He has final authority - and His words are the standards on which ALL lifes thoughts, decisions and actions are based.

Yes, He is good, but also severe.

A curse is on anyone and everyone that is disobedient to Him.

With any reasonable complex human issue, especially one that involves religion, one can create a doctrine that sounds correct and appears to be proven from scripture. But when one really starts to dig and lay ALL the scripture on the table it becomes clear that this so-called "scripture-based" teaching is anything from something standing on very shaky legs to a polished turd.

So is the notion to take one or a few scriptures, do some eisegesis, do some ignoregesis on others and voila, one can proof about anything.

But here at the later part of the New Covenant scriptures the notion that started with Moses way back in the Old Covenant, that one has to listen to the Prophet that will arise, is confirmed.

The notion of a very personal relationship with YESHUA is confirmed, His authority and position is confirmed.

John is the one that usually talking about love, warmth, forgiveness, etc. His words have teeth as well, however.

Ignore the teachings of Christ?  Here he calls such one lost.

Keeping the word of YESHUA is the protection.

But the Torah contained laws specific to the Jews ONLY - from Sinai to Telestai - it is finished. Yes, YESHUA ALSO fulfilled these "Jewish specific laws" which were brought in for the Jews to have a way to be reconciled to YHWH during this period.

At YESHUA's birth the time where gentiles were also included in this privilege were announced - Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. The divorce described in De 32:8, where the nations were assigned to other gods were now nulified, the promise to Abraham were about to be fulfilled.

This law of NORM for citizens of YHWH's kingdom were defined by YESHUA, and expanded by the New Testament writers. YHWH's kingdom will continue forever - some things on earth will disappear, e.g. prophesies, but the kernel of His law, to love YHWH and fellow man as self will never disappear.

Let OSAS get a fit. This is what the Teacher and Judge said. Period. Let OSAS throw their theology down and read and understand what YESHUA said. It is not your theology that saves, you nor your theology that is one day going to judge you, neither will it stand as your advocate. Let the Bible interpret, correct and judge your theology, do not adapt the Bible through the lens of your theology.

YESHUA had only contempt and judgement on the theology of those that were high up in the religious stratosphere, and the most condemnatory words were cast out on them, covered them.

And if He did it with the children of Abraham, the seed of the people that He led through the wilderness, were cleft for them, His chosen and elected people, He will do it to any theologian that goes against His word.

He stated the standards and expectations, and here, effective curse the one that take the part of his/her self-god in the place of YESHUA. Only those that bow the neck, accept what He commands, take the cross to have the self-god being obliterated, and follow YESHUA and His word, and in this case it is proper, fastiduously.

Self-god under to control of the satan and his minions is a hard and merciless life and will end in unspeakable misery and pain.

Being freed of those demands and dictates, life, even though one may suffer and be distressed in this world, will be easy. And there is still the hope of being with the Creator and Saviour whose benevolence motivated Him to give His life for one - no fear, no distress. Just peace and righteousness.

Here says YESHUA we will be freed from the agitations, frustrations and uncomfort that being a slave to self-god bring.

YESHUA said one will know someone by his fruit. This is an absolute, unequivocal demand. And adherence and respect or neglect and indifference of this determines one's final destination. It carries with it grave danger, as the Jews found 40 years after YESHUA left to heaven, they having suffered for nearly 2000years.

In Mat 25 YESHUA will use the simple acts done , or neglected, to a fellow believer, to determine one's blesseness or being cursed to the everlasting flames prepared for the devil and his angels.

This is far-reaching, severe, sobering.

I can only ask the OSAS crowd to stop pumping lies into ears - but to bring the gospel with all its demands and unpleasanties to the people.

This is way different than what we in the 21st century understand to be love, which we equate more with instinct than will.

These passages aim straight at the heart of man's malady, the skewed and corrupted dedication to self. This corruption was triggered in the garden, being promised to be gods. Any and all gods do expect honour and worship, YHWH Himself and all the fallen ones, and fallen man. Except for YHWH only, worship is proper and right, all the rest are fake gods that demands inappropriate and disallowed levels of respect and goodwill.

To respect and honour YHWH, YESHUA, making a dedicated effort to love them and obey them, even loving one's enemies, the weak, flies into the face of our fake self-gods.

Many maladies of man can be stopped in its tracks when one submit to these demands as one should. PTSD, depression, hatred, disheartedness, discontentedness, name it, man will be cured of many ills only by obeying these simple yet fare

If one denies the one, one denies and rejects both. One HAS to accept and submit to both.

His words are eternal life, His doctrine saves from judgement and condemnation and lastly, saves one from the second death.

The true Biblical application is that YHWH ENABLES one the is UNABLE to do what He requires. It does NOT imply that once enabled, the person is a god who do not need YHWH anymore. This YESHUA very clearly explained that in John 15, study that BEFORE the stone of "works" is picked up.
