If there ever was a group that needed a radical change of mind to accept the good news of the kingdom of YHWH, it was the Pharisees. Their baggage was so extensive that it was impossible for anyone to enter through the narrow and low passage into the kingdom, and their assembly before the gate prevented others to enter, But YHWH was relentless. He challenged them. In ways that they could not deny. They had to vomit out the fruit the Adam ate - turn, and be changed into the image of the Second Adam. It was a tall order. But made possible by YESHUA, He paid with His blood (died), went into the Holiest of all (He would do that a few days hence) and obtain forgiveness and reconcilliation with YHWH. They had the free choice, It was a tall order, but made possible.
Their decision to continue on their decent into the rabbit hole of perverseness contains vital lessons, we need to allow the Holy Spirit to visit, illuminate and cleanse all rooms in out minds and hearts, failing of which we may end up like them - having the clasped hand in the cookie jar, and being shattered with the jar at YESHUA's return (or death).
Be reborn - the dead bones made alive, the graves cleansed, filled with light and fresh air and the Holy Spirit
Pride - they had to shed their painfully acquired and trained pride - the Pharisee and the publican's prayer
Power - they had to rebuke and reject their father Satan that gave them their deceiptive manipulation and control over the population
Change of mind - they had to become aware and confess, be freed from the demons controlling them - John and YESHUA called them vipers
Comfort - they had to shed their perceived safety and acknowledge their immanent destruction, acknowledge that rocks were more able to convert and confess that YESHUA is Lord than they.
Humiliation - they had to acknowledge their poverty
Hardness - they had to confess and mourn over their inner inflexibility
Stiffness - they had to acknowledge that up tp now they defined the god they worshipped - and that YHWH is totally diffirent - He defines Himself, AND those that He allows and retain in His kingdom
Righteousness - Shedding their version of holiness, confessing it a human dung, and searching desperately for YHWH's righteousness
Harshness - open their eyes to their own hypocracy in judging others and excusing themselves - obtain the mercy of YHWH
Cleanliness - bow to the strong light of the Holy Spirit and high pressure washing of the innards of their hearts and soul - desire to see YHWH as He is, not as they make Him appear to be, conforming to the dictates of His kingdom not He to theirs
Accepting that YESHUA obliterated the wall between them and others, and between the Jews and the dirty and contaminated gentiles - also cleaning and saving them.
Honour the marriage - acknowledge their lustful adultery and fornication in heart, their cruelty to their wives, and accept that ONLY YESHUA enables this persistent and insiduous sin, inflamed and blown to consuming infernos by the princess that they worship.
Restitusion - give the houses back to widows from whom they stole it - and care for those,
Proseliting - halt the way that they make proselites - go to those over land and sea that they deceived, plead for forgiveness for their deceit, and teach these the true gospel
Destroy their market at the temple - with immediate effect halt the way that they extorted money from their fellow men, cleansing and guarding YHWH's house
Open the kingdom of heaven to all - rid themselves of all baggage, go down on their knees and crawl through the needle-like tunnel into the kingdom of YHWH, help others to go through as well
Halt their way of sacrificing - YESHUA demands sacrifice of self before doing if by any material means.
Jettison the teachings of the fathers (especially those of their spiritual father) - acknowledge the veracity of the teachings and instructions of YHWH, especially mercy and judgmernt, and violently reject any teaching that goes against YHWH's dictates (reader, realise their was a transition period between the Old and New covenant and respect that)
Relieve others of their burdens - with immediate effect stop to weigh others down by non-sensical and non-commanded burdens. Help and assist those bent under burdens, either removing that which can and assist those that cannot (e.g. poverty, the sich and maimed)
Immediate halt all the pomp - refuse people's adoration and take on a humble demeanor - not being in the face and ahead of others
Immediately halt any form of ostentation - give, fast, pray in privacy and secrecy
Bow before a teacher that was born out of wedlock, a beggarly poor, with no beauty, with a bunch of untrained and undisciplined unpolished ignoramuses, and acknowledge Him as their Messaih, Him having the authority to rebuke, correct, dictate and command - having His origin from YHWH Himself.
Alas they balked at this order. A generation later they were caught up by YHWH's grinding stone and their city and temple were destroyed. Later they were prevented from entering Jerusalem, at danger of death.
YHWH gave them over to their own wickedness - over time they produced the most vile and damnable teachings that will lead to the destruction of all mankind (accept the faithful Christians), polluting all and sundry, being accused of and persecuted for the most inhumane, ungodly vile acts.
It is eternal life threatening to ignore the call and choice and dictates of YHWH...
