1 Demands Self Responsibility
1.1 Be awake, aware, watchful, prayerful, wise, informed not to be deceived, and not being caught unawares when YESHUA returns
Mt 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. .
Mt 24:42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. .
Mt 24:44 Therefore, be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. .
Mt 26:41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. .
Mr 13:33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. .
Mr 13:35 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: .
Lu 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. .
1.2 Be hamble and not exalt self preventing humiliation and shame
Mt 23:12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted. .
Lu 18:14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted. .
1.3 Be very attentive to one's heart and mind and character - being blessedness by YHWH requires a certain character
Mt 5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. .
Mt 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. .
Mt 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. .
1.4 Darkness versus light
1.4.1 Being convinced about who YESHUA is, what He stands for, what He demands, and submitting to Him will allow one to walk in the righteousness of YHWH
Lu 11:36 If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no, part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light., .
Joh 12:46 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. .
1.4.2 Beware and prevent darkness in one's mind and heart to think, judge and do against the character of YHWH and YESHUA
Mt 6:23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! .
Lu 11:35 Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness. .
Joh 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. .
Joh 3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither, cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. .
1.5 Endeavour and make a strenous effort not to be defiled by own speech or character
Mt 12:35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. .
Mt 15:18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. .
Mt 15:20 These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man. .
Mr 7:15 There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man. .
Mr 7:20 And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man. .
Mr 7:22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: .
Mr 7:23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man. .
1.6 Getting to know YESHUA, trusting Him, following Him
1.6.1 Have a unwavering, unchallenged conviction in who YESHUA is and what He stands for and demands of one
Mr 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. .
Lu 7:30 But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel of God against themselves, being not baptized of him. .
Joh 6:27 Labor not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed. .
Joh 6:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. .
Joh 6:35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never, thirst. .
Joh 6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up, at the last day. .
Joh 6:47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. .
Joh 6:51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever:, and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. .
Joh 6:57 As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. .
Joh 6:58 This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live forever., .
Joh 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. .
1.6.2 Have the conviction and commitment and continuous exertion to follow YESHUA unwavering continuously to the end
Mt 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake:, but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. .
Mt 13:21 Yet hath he not root in himself, but endureth for a while:, for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. .
Mr 4:17 And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended. .
Lu 8:13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away. .
Joh 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; .
Joh 8:51 Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never, see death. .
Note John 8:51. YESHUA does NOT say that man will never experience physical death. It is the second death that He is refering to, One's salvation depends on what one does with the word of YESHUA.
Let OSAS get a fit. This is what the Teacher and Judge said. Period. Let OSAS throw their theology down and read and understand what YESHUA said. It is not your theology that saves, you nor your theology that is one day going to judge you, neither will it stand as your advocate. Let the Bible interpret, correct and judge your theology, do not adapt the Bible through the lens of your theology.
YESHUA had only contempt and judgement on the theology of those that were high up in the religious stratosphere, and the most condemnatory words were cast out on them, covered them.
And if He did it with the children of Abraham, the seed of the people that He led through the wilderness, were cleft for them, His chosen and elected people, He will do it to any theologian that goes against His word.
1.6.3 Having received and accepted the invitation to the kingdom, make a strenous effort to be filled and clothed appropriately
Mt 22:11 And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on, a wedding garment: .
Mt 25:8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. .
Mt 25:12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. .
Lu 11:25 And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished. .
Lu 11:26 Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. .
1.6.4 Here YESHUA gives a clear and simple indication of which god one submits to - accepting what He says is submitting to YHWH, otherwise it is something else
Joh 13:20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever, I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me. .
1.6.5 Make a conscious willing decision to turn from satan and sin and turn to and bow before and serve YHWH not to be destroyed
Lu 13:3 I tell you, Nay: but, except, ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. .
Lu 13:5 I tell you, Nay: but, except, ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. .
1.6.6 Make a strenuous effort to be properly turned to YHWH and filled with His Spirit, managing life in the light, so that good fruit are produced
Mt 3:8 Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance: .
Mt 3:10 And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth, good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. .
Mt 7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? .
Mt 7:17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. .
Mt 7:19 Every tree that bringeth not forth, good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. .
Mt 12:33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit. .
Mt 21:19 And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward forever., And presently the fig tree withered away. .
Mt 21:43 Therefore, say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. .
Lu 3:8 Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. .
Lu 3:9 And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: every tree therefore which bringeth not forth, good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. .
Joh 15:2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away:, and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. .
1.6.7 Make a strenuous effort to manage and control life in the brilliant light of YHWH's righteousness
Joh 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. .
Joh 12:35 Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth. .
Joh 12:36 While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them. .
1.6.8 Mske a strenuous effort to multiply that what one was entrusted with when receiving the invitation from YHWH
Mt 25:25 And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine. .
Mt 25:26 His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strewed: .
Mt 25:30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. .
Lu 16:11 If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust, the true riches?.
1.6.9 Quite contrary to expectation, doing all the hard and unpleasant stuff - it brings peace and tranquility
Mt 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. .
Mt 11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. .
Quite contrary to expectations, doing the hard and unpleasant stuff, like taking up one's cross, praying for the odious, fastiduously clinging to YESHUA's words, brings peace and tranquility.
Self-god under to control of the satan and his minions is a hard and merciless life and will end in unspeakable misery and pain.
Being freed of those demands and dictates, life, even though one may suffer and be distressed in this world, will be easy. And there is still the hope of being with the Creator and Saviour whose benevolence motivated Him to give His life for one - no fear, no distress. Just peace and righteousness.
Here says YESHUA we will be freed from the agitations, frustrations and uncomfort that being a slave to self-god bring.
1.6.10 Receiving the new life requires concommitant commitment and sacrifice, failing or neglecting will forfeit one the privilege
Mt 10:39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake, shall find it. .
Mt 16:25 For whosoever, will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever, will lose his life for my sake, shall find it. .
Mr 8:35 For whosoever, will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever, shall lose his life for my sake, and the gospel's, the same shall save it. .
Lu 9:24 For whosoever, will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever, will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. .
Lu 14:33 So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot, be my disciple. .
Lu 17:33 Whosoever, shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever, shall lose his life shall preserve it. .
Joh 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. .
Joh 12:25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. .
Re 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days; be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. .
1.6.11 Seek, search, strive, Exert vigorously, try hard, make a strenous effort to resist going against the character of YHWH which is called criminality
Mt 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. .
Mt 5:29 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. .
Mt 5:30 And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. .
Mt 18:8 Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire. .
Mt 18:9 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire. .
Mr 9:43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off:, it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: .
Mr 9:45 And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off:, it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: .
Mr 9:47 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out:, it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire: .
Mr 9:50 Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his saltness, wherewith, will ye season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace one with another., .
Lu 14:35 It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill; but men cast it out. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. .
Joh 5:14 Afterward, Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee. .
1.6.12 Slaves to YESHUA we become when we receive His gift of eternal life, and we become accountable and liable for what charges He lays on us from them on
Lu 12:47 And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes..
Lu 12:48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever, much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more. .
Joh 12:26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be:, if any man serve me, him will my Father honor. .
1.6.13 YESHUA expects one to hear His words, have it enter into mind and heart, and, as a precious and vitally important item would be, used, and very well looked after.
Mt 11:15 He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. .
1.6.14 YESHUA expects truth, and that every word counts. No fooling around with word games.
Mt 5:37 But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil. .
1.6.15 YESHUA has and show no grace nor mercy for the self - god. It needs obliteration, period.
Mt 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; .
One of the most difficult things to do is to exhibit goodwill towards someone that oppose one, acting in an odiously, hateful and highly offensive way, do excellent and commendable things for someone that detest you, and to pray for those that treat one abusively, threaten and accuse falsely, and even persecute one.
The one thing a self-god hates is opposition, resistance, insults, hurts, and especially undeserved mal-treatment. If it can, it will react in response with more violent retribution. If not, the anger is turned inward and that can smother for years, being an abcess that oozes vile pus, polluting the person and those around him or her.
YESHUA flies into this mercilessly and exposes yet ANOTHER way in which one can discover the often hidden remains of that destructive lust awakened in the garden, for which He had to bleed - from repugnance at taking those festering sores upon Himself - to bleeding from the scourging and nails of the cross, to His Father, with He had unbroken fellowship from before time began, turning His face away from His Son.
1.6.16 YESHUA highlights another sure sign of someonw willing to disregard himself in order to submit to Him - being of the truth
Joh 18:37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice. .
1.6.17 YESHUA says, don't be naive and stupid, know who you can relate one's convictions to
Mt 7:6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you. .
1.6.18 YESHUA, For the nth time, show total disregard for the opinions, feelings and inclinations of self - gods
Mt 11:6 And blessed is he, whosoever, shall not be offended in me. .
Many of the things that YESHUA demanded, when analysing it closely, is like ice-water thrown unexpectedly into the face, or like some would say, being hit with a wet fish.
He stated the standards and expectations, and here, effective curse the one that take the part of his/her self-god in the place of YESHUA. Only those that bow the neck, accept what He commands, take the cross to have the self-god being obliterated, and follow YESHUA and His word, and in this case it is proper, fastiduously.
1.6.19 YESHUA, When the the people wanted to kill Him for "working on a Sabbath" instructed them
Joh 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. .
1.7 Getting to know, trust, submit and obey YHWH
1.7.1 Have one and one Elohim to worship - and that is YHWH alone
Mt 4:10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. .
Joh 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. .
Joh 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. .
1.7.2 Make a diligent effort to obtain and nurture a Healthy respect for YHWH
Mt 10:28 And fear not, them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. .
Lu 12:5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him. .
1.7.3 Make a strenous effort not to offend YHWH by demanding protection when one is recklessly giving in to some temptation
Mt 4:7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. .
1.7.4 Make a strenous effort to trust YHWH for physical needs without being a lazy unproductive leech on others
Mt 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. .
Mt 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. .
Lu 12:29 And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither, be ye of doubtful mind. .
1.7.5 Seek and find and ensure that the will of YHWH is known and that it is done
Mt 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. .
Lu 8:21 And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it. .
Lu 11:28 But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it. .
1.7.6 Seek, search, strive, Exert vigorously, try hard, make a strenous effort to enter into the kingdom of YHWH
Mt 3:2 And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. .
Mt 5:4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. .
Mt 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:, .
Mt 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. .
Mt 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. .
Mt 22:8 Then saith he to his servants, The wedding, is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy. .
Lu 5:38 But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved. .
Lu 13:24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. .
Lu 14:24 For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper. .
Joh 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. .
1.7.7 YESHUA associated His word and work with YHWH, and measured one's relation to YHWH by the weight one places on YESHUA's words
Joh 3:33 He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true. .
Joh 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. .
Joh 6:45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me. .
Joh 7:17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. .
1.7.8 YESHUA instructs His disciples to be, with their thoughts and actions, to be witnesses of YHWH's righteousness
Mt 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. .
Responsibility and accountability is mutually inclusive. Cannot have the one without the other. And grace, in how it is presented during sermons, imply none of these.
The true Biblical application is that YHWH ENABLES one the is UNABLE to do what He requires. It does NOT imply that once enabled, the person is a god who do not need YHWH anymore. This YESHUA very clearly explained that in John 15, study that BEFORE the stone of "works" is picked up.
1.7.9 YHWH is complete, wanting nothing, consumate in integrity and virtue. This YESHUA expects of us to use Him as pattern for our thoughts and actions.
Mt 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. .
1.8 Relationship with brethren
1.8.1 Anger without just cause - liable to be judged, saying emptyheaded fool - liable to hellfire
Mt 5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever, shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever, shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. .
1.8.2 Be extremely careful not to be uncompassionate to a brother in need - it is a very serious offense against YESHUA - and in serious enough cases, it WILL you your eternal life
Mt 25:42 For I was hungry, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:, .
Mt 25:43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in:, naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. .
Mt 25:45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as, ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. .
Mt 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. .
Mr 9:41 For whosoever, shall give you a cup of water to drink, in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward. .
OSAS will probably flip over and die. A brilliant example where OSAS
1. Either ignore a portion of scripture flatly
2. Explain it away
3. Or, as in the case with the dispensationalists, relegate YESHUA to the Old Testament and link everthing that He said to the LAW, as we are living in GRACE and have ZERO responsibility, nor accountability.
Now they can throw stones of works and what else not. All I can answer, go and try that one day when standing before the JUDGE who said HIS words will judge. Not the words of Augustine, Calvyn, Scofield, or whatever "church father" one would care to mention.
These people will be quick to point to verses that is an indication of YHWH's omnipotence and man's impotence, but the WHOLE scripture is given for training and instruction - including YESHUA's words.
1.8.3 Be very attentive to the sin in one's own life before judging brother of less significant issues
Mt 7:5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye. .
1.8.4 Beware of organisational strucures and leaders in an ekklesia, putting people on pedistals, calling them master, father, pastor, uncle in reverence
Mt 23:8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren. .
Mt 23:9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. .
Mt 23:10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ. .
1.8.5 Causing a stumbling block before a little one, to the sea with a millstone around the neck - dangerous stuff
Mt 18:6 But whoso, shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone, were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. .
Mt 18:10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always, behold the face of my Father which is in heaven. .
1.8.6 Detesting of a true faithful believer is dangerous, and, according to John is already an indication of one's descend into darkness
1Jo 2:11 But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes. .
1.8.7 Having compassion on fellowman. YESHUA had infinite compassion on you.
Mt 18:33 Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellow servant, even as I had pity on thee? .
1.8.8 Having the form, going to church, tithe, living a beneficial life with good works - alone that is not going to make it.
Mt 5:20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed, the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. .
Lu 12:1 In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trod one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. .
The Pharisees were genuinely deeply religiously disciplined. Their was one problem though. They adhered to a model of truth that they fastiduously applied to their Bible, and in the process forced to Bible to speak their language, amplifying their believe system where the Bible synchronises with theirs, e.g. the Sabbath, and cancelling or blotting out those portions that are contrary.
It boils down to the same principle apllied for the cross (carrying). Who is in charge? YHWH or me? YHWH's word or whatever of man's word. Tracing the thread back deep into history, one ends at "has YHWH said?" "you will be as gods".
That is why one needs to be extremely careful and always test and subject one's belief system against the Bible. It remains quiet, even when violated, but it builds up a historical account which will be used one day to determine one's adherence to the very scripture. And the amount of diviation will determine one's final destination.
Astoundingly, this somewhat indignificant and overlooked comment contains, by implication, and in what it does NOT say, the kernel of the gospel. It forces man to ask, how then is man saved? And coninue to be saved to the end?
Answer is, YHWH frees us from the control and tyranny of our own self-god, and places us under His authority.

Mt 5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever, shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever, shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. .

But most importantly YESHUA defines receiving and continuing into eternal life is following Him.
