  - It is amazing to have gone through life a bunch of decades and as far as I can remember, never to have heard or read, from anyone else, nor have READ it myself, and understood, that hear in the Bible means MUCH more than just detect the words and form some kind of memory of it.
    The Bible goes much deeper and demands that the words penetrate deep into the inner being of man and there in some mysterious process interact with that man so that that inner man become in tune with the true meaning of the words. Joh 1 takes this idea infinitely deeper - to hear YESHUA is to have the inner man change into a new different creature.
    Romanism, Calvinism, Dispensationalism and especially Pentacostalism have distorted this fundamental principle by emphasising different aspects of faith and all excluded this vital element. Dispensationalism went for the heart - and Scofield did a brilliant job - excluding the words of YESHUA from the conscience of Christians. Pentacostalism accepted any and all spiritual experiences - and they DO exist - without running them through the filters and furnaces of the Bible.
    It is time that those that want to prepare for the time ahead, it DOES appear that we are barreling headlong into the end times, prepare their hearts and ears to LISTEN.
- V05 - YESHUA instituting new covenant principles
  - Comment
    - For those that say that the Old Covenant has to be ignored in total - YHWH has a universal law - and that law or norm has to do with a wide and encompassing area of application, and it is eternal.
      To assume that YHWH would not include whole aspects of this norm in the Old Covenant of the Israelites is just plain folly. Yes, He had specific norms which He applied to the Israelites which were NEVER applicable to gentiles (read Christians), and not anymore to the Hebrew Christians, after Christ. In fact, Judaism is a non-event - for various reasons.
      The Old Covenant was meant to hold in check the wickedness of man, provide some kind of relief for tension between YHWH and man, a second hand covering like Adam and Eve had after the fruit episode.
      YESHUA came to restore to a great extend that which Adam lost, and when He returns, we will again be as perfect as Adam was, more perfect - as YESHUA Himself is.
      But here YESHUA takes from the Old those "skins" and replaces it with glorious robes - the garnents that are fit for citizens of YHWH's kingdom.
      This is the decision each will have to make - are you willing to rip of the skin coverings of whatever belief system you are adhering to, be washed (in the blood of Christ, changed into the image of Christ) and clothe self with the garments carrying the label being made according to the norm of the life of the Spirit of Christ?

- V10 - Hearing and doing words wise building house on a rock

    - YESHUA came to establish a New Covenant - and here He set the basic terms of that covenant. Note that the covenant is everlasting - but it can be broken, when the penalty clauses go in effect.
      YESHUA indicates here the effect that man's reaction will have to the terms of the covenant laid down - remain standing after a massive attack by the troubles of life and the destructive forces of darkness.
      In this time of trouble that we are facing - and the pressure in the bomb is climbing by the day, all over the world, this is even more pressing that we get ready by paying close attention.
  - 001 Mt 7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth {191} these sayings of mine and doeth them I will liken him unto a wise man which built his house upon a rock
  - 002 Lu 6:47 Whosoever cometh to me and heareth {191} my sayings and doeth them I will show you to whom he is like
- V15 - He that has ears let him hear
  - Comment
    - In the Torah Moses urged the Israelites to listen and obey, to prepare and circumcise their hearts to YHWH.
      Here YESHUA says that same thing in different words - repeatedly.
      IT IS OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO LISTEN!
  - 001 Mt 11:15 He that hath ears to hear {191} let him hear {191}
  - 002 Mt 13:9 Who hath ears to hear {191} let him hear {191}
  - 003 Mt 13:43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father Who hath ears to hear {191} let him hear {191}

- V20 - The sower
  - Comment
    - Amazing when one focus on one word how a well known passage can take on a very specific meaning.
      The Sower is the Logos - and how we listen to Him, determines the fruit that we produce. He was (still is) the prophet that Moses said would come, be like Him, and Him the nation had to listen - with dire consequences if not.
      We better dust off our understanding of Monogenes (only Son) and Prototokos (firstborn Son). He is single in kind, and the most important Son of YHWH - and we better listen to Him.
  - V10 - Hearing but gospel has no entrance - Satan immediately wipes all traces away
    - 001 Mt 13:19 When any one heareth {191} the word of the kingdom and understandeth it not then cometh the wicked one and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart This is he which received seed by the way side
    - 002 Mr 4:15 And these are they by the way side where the word is sown; but when they have heard {191} Satan cometh immediately and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts
    - 003 Lu 8:12 Those by the way side are they that hear; {191} then cometh the devil and taketh away the word out of their hearts lest they should believe and be saved
