There are hundreds if not thousands of views regarding the Gospel of Jesus Christ. 

You get Calvinism, Arminianism, Pentecostalism, Preterism, Futurism, Catholism, and a billion other views. But what is the truth. What are the essentials? Some are going through the scriptures with a microscope to find that verse or fraction or word or tense that they are desperately looking for. And from this nit picking, a whole new system is built - or ferociously defended. 

Some will start in the Bible and suddenly switch to philosophy, or a belief that they do not have much evidence for but will still state it that God in the Bible says... 

Here I would rather have the Bible talk. I have listened to preachers on YouTube saying something, then when I start to analyses what they say, using the verses and looking up cross references and words and whatever, and many times come upon the exact opposite of what they so confidently stated. 

The Bible is complex. Even Solomon and Paul, two of the most intelligent people on earth said it (God, His plans and ways) is difficult to understand and master. What about us poor people. There are apparent contradictions, and whichever is on onto one contradiction will either ignore it, explain it away or interpret in a way that is totally illogical. 

However, what we need to know and do to be saved and be safe until the end is crystal clear. One just have to go and search for it.
